I got told I was joining Aelfgythe from the very beginning and have never regretted it for a moment. And due to us having no music at the start I felt compelled to drag my old recorder out and give it a go again, as well as learning to read music all over again. Aelfgythe gave me a whole new life,
I discovered folk music & have met some of the best friends
I have ever had through Morris. I admittedly can be a stroppy old Bag at times, but at the same time love meeting new sides & trying my best to book as many interesting & lively events as possible. For some reason I have a reputation for liking a beer or two. But I think I do my best to make sure everyone is looked after & happy and I love my side with a passion.
